update

It's March 7 - the eve of the one year since the stroke. A year ago, I never imagined we would be where we are today.

I saw Mark at lunch today. Apparently he has given up eating meat for Lent. He is growing tired of the meals at the nursing home. His main staple seems to be Peanut Butter and jelly sandwiches. He does appreciate it when friends and family bring in food from the outside.

Mark is still not able to sit up on his own. Nor is he able to move his left arm. He does practice lifting his left leg but it's from the hip. He can also life both hips up from the bed. However it is a little awkward with one leg straight. But, it is progress.

Mark enjoys the visits from family and friends. Please continue to stop & see him. Or perhaps you can send him a note or a card. If you have not visited him yet or sent him a card, please consider to do so.

Also, please keep Mark & his family in your prayers.
