March 21 Timeline

Mark had a good day today. The echocardiogram showed no problems with his heart. The nurse explained that since he is being given Heparin to prevent new blood clots and to stop the clots that he has from getting larger, his body will work to break up and dissolve the existing clots.

The trachea tube might be removed in 2-3 days, as Mark did not need to have any fluid suctioned today (he has a strong cough). He did not need any pain meds today either.

Mark asked that I read the notebook to him that we have been writing in during visits. He has been watching or just listening to basketball on T.V.

Communication is hard, but Mark has occasionally tried to write a few words.

With faith and a lot of hard work, we will see Mark return to his old self. I can't wait to talk and laugh with him!

We all love you Mark.
