March 26 Update

Chris, Robin & I visited with Mark today at lunch with hopes of meeting with his doctor as well. Mark had been sitting up for a couple of hours this morning already which tired him out. So he was dozing while we were there.

Dr. Fletcher said that he would be able to be released tomorrow to the rehab center in Battle Creek depending on the hematology results later today. Saturday night Mark experienced some discomfort from a clot in his leg. The hemitologist wants to see if they can figure out why the clots are forming.

The initial length of therapy is projected to be two weeks maybe three depending on his determination and speed of recovery. Brian, Lisa, Jeff and Mark will no longer be able to stay in the two story townhouse. A single level dwelling is needed so there is easy access to a bedroom and full bath. If anyone knows of a place in the Kalamazoo area, please let the family know or post it here on the site. Income is very limited right now - so that will need to be considered.

Thank you so much for all that everyone has done to help us thus far.
