March 24, 2007

Mark continues to progress. Having the tracheotomy out has allowed him to talk up a storm. He passed his swallow test today. His CAT Scan that they did last night showed swelling down and no bleeding. He does have sinuitis which his doctor diagnosed before the stroke.

He complains about his helmet not fitting correctly but I had to remind him he's not playing football these days.

He's frustrated with having to stay in bed. He was able to sit up in his chair for 2.5 hours today.

Mark was excited about being able to eat today - applesauce, graham crackers, water.

There is small steps of progress each day. We hope you will continue to remember him with your thoughts and prayers.
